1. Description of the Service
Ausk provides a fully offline desktop application for visual version control of project files. The application allows users to create commits, manage branches, visualize project history, and organize project versions through a graphical interface.
Ausk operates entirely on files stored locally on the user's device. It makes no network requests and does not collect, transmit, or store any user data externally.
2. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, Ausk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for personal or commercial purposes.
You may not:
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the application
- redistribute the application without authorization
- use the software in violation of applicable laws
3. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for managing their own project files and maintaining appropriate backups. Because Ausk stores all project data locally and operates fully offline, users are solely responsible for safeguarding their project files and version history.
Ausk has no access to your data and cannot assist with data recovery.
4. Application Distribution & Updates
Ausk is distributed exclusively through the Microsoft Store. All downloads, installations, and software updates are managed by Microsoft through their platform. Ausk does not operate its own distribution or update infrastructure.
By using the Microsoft Store, you are also subject to Microsoft's Terms of Service.
5. Third-Party Software
Ausk may interact with external applications chosen by the user, such as digital content creation tools or editors. These applications are not controlled by Ausk and are governed by their own terms and policies.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Ausk software, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, remain the property of Ausk and its creators. Users may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the software without authorization.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will operate without interruption or errors.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ausk and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or project disruptions.
9. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Users may terminate their use of the software at any time by uninstalling the application. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the application at our discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws in the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the Ausk website with a revised effective date.
